Keyhealth Medical Centre, Waltham Abbey

From 1st December, our practice is undergoing a gradual change behind the scenes.

Dr Greenhalgh, who was one of the founding partners of Keyhealth Medical Centre in 2001, has taken over the running of the practice, which has now reverted to its original name. Although we will be making some changes to the website in keeping with the fresh start, our friendly team remains the same.

In the meantime, we will try to ensure that our website gives clear and concise help and gives our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format.

You can check surgery times or let us know what you think of us. Please tell us if you would recommend our surgery, by answering this short question on our Friends & Family Test.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Keyhealth Medical Centre is directly opposite the entrance to Tesco on Sewardstone Road. We are to be found on the ground floor of the Waltham Abbey Health Centre. The building is wheelchair friendly and disabled parking is within 100 yards. Parking in the supermarket car park is free.

Did you know you can now see a GP at the weekend?

We are very pleased to be offering weekend appointments to our patients. These appointments are available at a local health centre and can be booked through our receptionists. We are encouraging people to use this service which provides additional appointments to fit in with busy lifestyles.

Patients can see a GP, healthcare assistant or nurse over the weekend for routine GP appointments, health checks and treatments. People with long term health conditions such as asthma and diabetes can also access these appointments.

To find out more about the service please go to or ask our receptionists.
